Functional Art

One large garden made up of many smaller gardens, this Wynnum project was designed to entice the owners into the yard and continue their lifelong love of gardening. The stunning entryway is constructed of sandstone and recycled materials, softened with new and existing native plants. The smaller garden is comprised of custom made planter boxes which are fully integrated for ease of maintenance. The garden was filled with flowers and vegetables from the owners past, as well as pockets for sitting and enjoying the beautiful outdoor area.

What the client said

Ben and the crew from Yards are a pleasure to work with. Ben combines his passion for his projects with a willingness to listen to and respond to his clients’ needs. We were impressed by the thoroughness of the preliminary and preparatory work carried out, and were able to relax in the knowledge that the end product would be a professionally and lovingly created garden.
We were kept constantly informed about what was happening, and Ben responded promptly to all queries. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he really did go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the results.
Working on this project with Ben and ‘The Boys’ has indeed been a pleasurable experience, and we are delighted with our new garden. We have no hesitation in recommending Ben to anyone requiring the services of a creative, caring and enthusiastic landscaper.
