Tarragindi Gardener

The client has a passion for gardening and this entire project is based around the existing large and vibrant flowering Jacaranda Tree.

Yards were engaged to develop this garden to rectify drainage issues and make use of all available water captured onsite.

What the client said

Ben and the crew from Yards are a pleasure to work with. Ben combines his passion for his projects with a willingness to listen to and respond to his clients’ needs. We were impressed by the thoroughness of the preliminary and preparatory work carried out, and were able to relax in the knowledge that the end product would be a professionally and lovingly created garden.
We were kept constantly informed about what was happening, and Ben responded promptly to all queries. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he really did go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the results.
Working on this project with Ben and ‘The Boys’ has indeed been a pleasurable experience, and we are delighted with our new garden. We have no hesitation in recommending Ben to anyone requiring the services of a creative, caring and enthusiastic landscaper.

What the client said

From the start Ben’s ability to take in and put down the design from the brief, was such an easy and exciting process. The level of detail and the suggested options made me feel confident that I had chosen the right designer and landscaper for this project. The space has been better utilised with the flowing garden retainer wall being able to be used for casual seating, as well as a small seating nook which is perfect for a more intimate setting. Ben‘s advise on the lighting has transformed the area and makes a stunning feature at night. The choice of both the hard and soft landscaping features continues to receive compliments from family and friends. This area has now become the focus living area for most of the year. I was so pleased with the result; I have also engaged Ben and his capable team for the front gardens – another wonderful design!
I was also very pleased with the ease, professional and friendly staff and contractors that work with the Yard team.

This compact Bulimba waterfront garden combines easy boat jetty access with a functional space for entertaining. A sunken fire pit using textured stone complements the other hardscape elements including hardwood benches and planter boxes, while offset by the Empire turf lawn and hardy plants. LED strip lighting under the hardwood benches provides a unique night-time ambience.
